Star Wars: No Disintegrations
When asked to disclose something about myself, I always go with the story of being trained as an imperial navy pilot who abandoned his post before it really even began. The truth, however, is much more complicated. Though it is true that I am a more than capable pilot, it is because I have lived the majority of my adulthood running from one nondescript planet in the outer rim to another. Don’t get me wrong, I love to fly and I will brag from time to time, but being a hotshot to those looking is only part of my story.
I remember little about my parents. They both perished in a freak accident when their transport ship’s deflector shields malfunctioned during atmosphere reentry. Fortunately, their boss took me in and continued to provide for me in exchange for services as an errand boy, driver, bodyguard, and assistant.
Much happened over the span of 25 standard years, but let’s just say that I had to finally strike out on my own and that there are people in the galaxy who would like to see my head roll. My story is but one in a sea of stars. However, I have a feeling that after meeting a group of individuals on The Wheel, everything proceeding this event was merely a prologue.
